6 Post Graduate Mass Communication trainees from India Today
Media Institute to shoot documentary on Ferozepur
Ferozepur, October 8, 2015 : With a view to highlight the border town Ferozepur – situated on international Indo-Pak border at a distance of 11 Kms – at the global level, a team of Post Graduate trainees of Mass Communication visited Press Club Ferozepur on Wednesday,with a plan to make documentary on the city.
The trainees from India Today Media Institute are – Apoorva Billere,(Scrip), Anuj Shukla (Production Manager), Anubhav Mishara (Camera), Ruchika Sandolkar (Camera) and Neha Samant , Naincy Priya (Production Documentary) and Sushmita Ghosh and Disha Sharma (Editing) – were given a warm welcome at Press Club and extended full cooperation to the crew in this socially important endeavour.
Added here, India Today Media Institute is fully owned by the IndianToday Group a renowned Media organization that runs magazines such as India Today and Business Today and news channels sjuch as Aaj Tak and India Today with its work base at Noida(UP).
Having interaction with the Press Club members, the trainees expressed their desire to visit border area villages to see in person the life style of the people who have witnessed three wars with the neighbor country.
They were put wiser about the history of Ferozepur, availability of educational and health facilities in the city but having no job opportunities for the educated youths due to non set-up of any industry in this town.
Vijay Kakkar, Jagdish Kumar, Bobby Khurana and Harish Monga members of the Press Club were present on this occasion.
Harish Monga, on behalf of the Press Club assured to extend any possible help to make success of the project of the trainees.
