Vigilance Bureau sleuths arrest Punjab Khadi Board official for accepting bribe

Ferozepur, February 21, 2017:  On Monday, the Vigilance Bureau officials arrested Krishan Dass, District Organizer (Rural Industry) while he was accepting a bribe of Rs.2500 from complainant Ajit Kumar of Mallanwala.

In a complaint, Ajit Kumar had told that Krishan Dass was demanding bribe for clearing a file pertaining to a loan he had applied for to set up a flour mill. 

VB official informed that Ajit Kumar was arrested in the presence of government witnesses Yogesh Kumar, SDO, Varun Kumar, Clerk, DEO Sec. Ferozepur and private witness Ashwani Kumar of Mallanwala.
