3 Days’ Science Exhibitiaon and Kishor Mela concludes successfully

Exhibitions popularize science among masses and create an awareness regarding the role of science and technology in  growth of the country : Dr.Sidhu

Ferozepur, October 25, 2015 : The three days Science Exhibition and Kishore Mela organized at Dev Samaj Model School,Ferozepur – under the tutelage of Jagseer Singh, DEO(SS), where Pardeep Deroa, Dy.DEO was also present – was concluded today successfully.

Giving the details, Rajesh Mehta, District Science Supervisor said, in this exhibition and mela, the students from different schools displayed unrivalled science models and appreciated by one and all.

He said, the objective of organizing science exhibitions is to stimulate interest in science and technology and inculcate scientific spirit  in younger generations.

On the third day, Dr.T.S.Sodhu, Director, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Technical Campus inaugurated the concluding day session.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr.Sidhu said, such exhibition encourage the students and help in developing their minds and  come up with new ideas.

Moreover, these popularizing science among masses and creating an awareness regarding the role of science and technology in socio-economic and sustainable growth of the country;

The winning teams were presented a token of honour.  In all, the maximum 24 titles were bagged by  Gurujharsahai Tehsil with first position, 22 by Ferozepur Tehsil at second place and 13 by Zira Tehsil at third place.

Lalit Kumar performed the master-of-ceremony nicely and the entire education department staff put on duty extend full cooperation to make the exhibition and meal a grand success.
