26 Aam Aadmi Clinics provide treatment to 1.41 lac patients in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, August 29, 2023: The number of patients has reached 1,41,836 patients from January 23 to July 23 with 21,324 clinical tests and 1158 Path Lab tests, across the district in 26 Aam Aadmi Clinics (AACs), which has brought a revolution in the healthcare sector by getting treatment from these clinics, which has further reduced the burden in hospitals.

Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur Rajesh Dhiman also paid surprise visits to some of the AAC’s in the district and interacted with the patients to have feedback. He expressed satisfaction over the arrangements and services being extended at the Aam Aadmi Clinics.

As per the information, since the opening of Aam Aadmi Clinics (AACs), 1,41,836 patients have availed the health services from 26 AACs in the district besides 21,324 lab tests from January to July, 2023 and 1158 Path Lab tests during July.

The visits to these AACs have gradually increased as in January 4,763 patients, in February 30,116, March 22,531, April 20,531, May 22,278, June 18321, and in July 21,296. Similar was the trend in lab testing, it were 627 tests in January, 3744 February, 2583 March, 2737 April, 4075 May, 3208 June and 4350 in July.

DC said, the free health facilities, lab tests and medicines are being provided to the people in AACs close to their homes by qualified and expert doctors so as to reduce the crowding of patients with common diseases in civil hospitals. More-over, the people don’t have to go to big hospitals for common ailments. As many as 41 types of tests are being conducted free of charge at these clinics and free medicines are being given to the patients, including BP, diabetes, skin diseases, various seasonal diseases like viral fever.
