2 nabbed with 1.5 kg heroin in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, March 2, 2024: In its drive against the drug, the Ferozepur police nabbed two accused with the recovery of 1.5 kg heroin and one Swift car.

Divulging with details, SSP Soumya Mishra said, that during the routine patrolling under the supervision of SP(D) Randhir Kuar and Balkar Singh, DSP(D), input was received by CIA staff that Hira Singh of village Makala Middu, Anmolpreet Singh alias Molla of Dulla Singh Wala are doing the business of selling of heroin. Working swiftly on the input, both the accused were nabbed with 1.5 kg heroin from Hira Singh and 50 gm from Anmolpreet Singh with a Swift car seized.  The accused will be produced in the court to get remand for further investigation.

However, on scrutiny of the record, it has come to the surface that Hira Singh was already booked under the NDPS Act at Sadar Ferozepur police station in November 2017.
