2 deaths, 127 Corona positive cases surfaced in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, April 15, 2021: The daily increase of COVID-19 positive cases has become a cause of concern for the administration and 127 new Covid-19 positive cases on Thursday in Ferozepur district, the total tally of active cases has gone to 584 with two deaths of 50 years females.
The cooperation of people is a must in view of the surge in corona positive cases in the district by following the medical protocols, said a health official.
As per the information, 1,18,859 samples had been taken since the spread of coronavirus in this area. Out of this 1,12,571 were found negative, 6,087 positive and 5,320 recovered leaving the active cases as of now to 584. However, the test for 201 samples is still awaited. During this period, the total number of deaths had been 181 due to Covid-19 including two of today.
At the same time, vaccine drive has also been intensified and so far, 45,673 have been vaccinated of all categories of 60 plus, 45 to 59 and frontline workers in government.
