Wanted accused in Bathinda theft case of 13 weapons, 368 cartridges arrested in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, March 12, 2023: The Ferozepur police claimed to have arrested one person identified as Dharampal alias Dharma, wanted in theft case of 13 weapons and 368 cartridges registered at police station, Dayalpur, in Bathinda.
Working on the inputs, the CIA staff team headed by Tarsem Sharma arrested Dharampal Singh alias Dharma of village Rataul Bet under Zira police station in Ferozepur and Rohit of village Malluwaliiye Wala along with Ritz car with recovery of 100 gm heroin from Baz Wala Chowk near Gandhi Garden in cantonment area, said SP(D) Randhir Kumar.
He further said, further in-depth questioning of the arrested accused is on so as to advance the investigation in the case after getting the police remand after producing in the court.
He further added that Dharampal Singh alias Dharma is facing under trial in three cases of NDPS and Arms Act at Moga and Ferozepur and was wanted in four cases at police station Dayalpur in Bathinda.
SP(D) said, under the skilful leadership of SSP a campaign against the arrest of wanted accused in theft and proclaimed offenders (POs) is being run in the district.
