Three sisters and UCMass kids donate piggy bank savings for flood relief to Ferozepur Foundation

Ferozepur, July 16, 2023: The daughters – Mishti, Anika and Ananya – of Sunil Kakkar and UCMass kids, in Ferozepur having motivated with the work relief work for flood affected people by the local leading NGO – Ferozepur Foundation, donated their piggy bank savings to help victims in rain-ravaged in Ferozepur.

Similarly, the UCMass kids also collected the funds from door-to-door and donated for this purpose.

The three sisters had been saving money since one year to buy a gift for the parents but on seeing the tragedy unfold in Ferozepur, they decided to donate their savings to the local NGO working for the flood-affected people.  We are happy and feel it like a celebrations at our home.

The heart-warming gesture of the three sisters and UCMass kids was appreciated by Ferozepur Foundation members for their generous act to support humanity in the hour of need.

Shalinder – founder of Ferozepur Foundation said, in Rs.938 by three sisters and Rs.9,000 by UCMass kids was donated.  He said, it is not the quantum of the amount donated but the spirit and emotions behind it for coming forward for this noble cause.  He thanked the kids and the parents as well, who had been brought up in such atmosphere and educated to help people in difficult times
