Tantrik and House Owner booked for placing of Holy Book under foundation of house

Ferozepur, May 12, 2015: A case of placing of Holy Book – Sri Japuji Sahib – holy book under the foundation of house in village by its owner on the advice of a Tantrik. The superstitious people can go to any extent and can do any evil doing even if it is so mean and unethical. For vested interests, some people do not bother to sacrifice for religious signs and holy books. The police have booked a case against Rachhpal Singh resident of village Changali Jadid owner of the house and Sanjay Pandit of Abohar. On getting this information, the villagers were called and intimation to the police was given for hurting the religious sentiments of the people. The story goes like this that Rachhpal Singh had called one Tantrik from Abohar on May 9 and on his advice, he has dumped Sri Japuji Sahib under the foundation of the house. The police team in the presence of ‘singhs’ of Ek Noor Khalsa Fouj took out the Holy Book – Sri Japuji Sahib – by dismantling the foundation of the house and handed over to the police after wrapping in the new cloth. As no arrest has so far been made in this case, the police after registration of a case are making raids at the suspected places top nab the culprits.
