Ferozepur, June 18, 2022: Under the flagship programme of Govt of India -‘One India-Best India’, an online guest lecture at Dev Samaj College for Women (DSCW), Ferozepur by the Department of Hospital Administration and Management was conducted at Dev Samaj College for Women (DSCW), Ferozepur, under the tutelage of Shriman Nirmal Singh Dhillon, Chairman, DSCW. In this event, as many as 85, students learned about different aspects of dealing with stress.

In this webinar, Dr. Ritesh Sahotra, Medical Officer, Resource Person PCMS-1 gave many tips to the students to lead a stress-free life.  “Everyone knows how harmful stress can be,” he said.  If we do not get rid of it in time, it can be a hindrance to our progress.  Due to stress, we also invite many diseases like social stress nowadays, he said.  But the real stress is due to the lack of reactions to them.  We look at our phones over and over again. We can’t sleep well and we can’t eat.  We need to protect ourselves from such unnecessary stress.  He put wiser the students that if they want to be stress-free even during the exams, start studying now.  When we start preparing one day before the exam, neither the syllabus is completed nor we remember everything well. Dr. Ritesh also answered questions from teachers and students.

Dr.Sangeeta, Principal said, in this digital era, there is a need to organize from time to time. Also giving a tip, she said, if you are feeling overwhelmed by stress or frustration, try taking a break and listening to relaxing music.

At the end of the webinar, Sapna Badhwar, Nodal Officer, One India Best India Unit, thanked the guests.  Prof. Dr. Sania Gill and heads of departments were present on the occasion.
