Satkar Kaur Gehri, MLA Ferozepur Rural gets warm welcome at Press Club Ferozepur
Ferozepur, January 27, 2019: On her maiden visit to Press Club Ferozepur, Satnam Kaur Gehri, Congress MLA from Ferozepur Rural was given a warm welcome by the President, Mandeep Kumar and members.
Satnam Kaur Gehri was accompanied by her husband Ladi Gehri and various leaders of her constituency, sarpanch and social activists.
Gehri highlighted the various development works in her constituency and assured to undertake more in the future. She also gave assurance to any kind of help for the Press Club.
She said, there is close bonding between the press and politicians. Without the support of media, no politician can be successful. She said, shortly the OPD of PGI Satellite Centre will be started at Civil Hospital premises besides taking up the matter with the government for completing the formalities to start the centre at the earliest so that people of the area could get the health services in Ferozepur itself and they have not to rush to the distant places.
