Rana Sodhi celebrates Rakhi at Dev Samaj College for Women

Ferozepur, August 18, 2016: On Thursday, Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi MLA from Guruharsahi constituency, celebrated  Raksha Bandan in Dev Samaj College Ferozepur.

On this occasion, Rana Sodhi speaking about the importance of Raksha Bandha – a scared and pious festival – said, it is not confined to tying of thread on the wrist but a bond of true love between brother and sister.  He also wished the girl students for their bright future, enjoy the value of education in their life and put your all-out efforts to contribute to make Drug-Free Punjab.

In these days, the children are  deprived of true spirit of the festival these days and such celebrations teach the young genration about our traditions which helps to bind them with our culture and heritage, he added.
