Railways to start 3 special festival trains in Punjab
Ferozepur, January 14, 2021: The Northern Railway will start three special festival trains from January 18 for the convenience of the people of Punjab.
Two trains have been planned, one between Amritsar-Kolkata and Haridwar and the second one Nangal Dam-Kolkata.
As per the information, one Howrah-Amritsar-Howrah Festival special train will start on January 18 and reach Amritsar on the third day. Similarly, the second special train will leave Calcutta on January 21 and reach Nangal Dam on the second day. The stop of this train will be Asansol, Jasidih, Jhaja, Kiul, Patna, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Juction, Varanasi, Lucknow, Bareilly, Moradabad, Saharanpur, Ambala Cantonment, Sirhind, Rupnagar and Anandpur Sahib.
The special fast train between Amritsar and Haridwar will go to Haridwar daily from January 18 via Beas, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Rajpura, Ambala, Jagadhri, Yamunanagar, Saharanpur, Sturki, Lucksar. This train is being run for Kumbh starting from 14 January.
