Railway celebrates ‘Rail Humsafar Week” in Ferozepur Division

1000 trees to be planted in each Rail Divison

Ferozepur, May 26, 2016: Ferozepur Division of Northern Railway today started celebrations of Rail Humsafar Week with each day with specific themes as Satkaar Divas, Sewa Divas, Satkarta Divas,  Saamanjasya Divas,  Sanyojan Divas and Sanchaar Divas starting from today upto June 1.

On the first day of the week celebrations, DRM Ferozepur Anuj Parkash visited various stations of the rail division Ferozepur and checked the arrangements of the cleanliness on the stations as well as in the rail pantries.

DRM also had interaction with the passengers to have feedback about the arrangements by the railways for making further improvement.

During the week celebrations, each zonal railways would undertake plantation of at least 1000 trees on each division especially in the railway colonies and other premises.
