Peaceful protest with ‘Black Flags’ by various Sikh Organizations in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, November 4, 2015:  Various Sikh Organizations held a peaceful protest with ‘Black Flags’ in the district demanding justice of punishment to the culprits after the sacrilege incidents of Guru Granth Sahib at various places in the state.

The protest started from Shaheed Udham Singh Chowk upto Octroi Post No.7 upt o 3 pm today.  The protesters were holding black flags in their hands while sitting on the road sides.

Talking on this occasion with the media persons, Lakh bir Singh Mahalam, leader of Ek Noor Khalsa, Amrik Singh, Bohar Singh and others said, the peaceful protest with black flags in hands, to show resentment,  has been organized as per the demand raised at the Panthak Convention for the arrest of real culprits, at the bhog ceremony of two youths died in police firing at Behbal Kalan near Bargari village in the protest against the sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib.  Besides, the protest was also held on Ferozepur-Fazilka road by Sikh Organizations.
