Ferozepur, November 8, 2019: Today, floral tributes were paid to Kamal Sharma, former BJP President Punjab at the Bhog Ceremony held today at Grand Villa on Border.
Thousands including locals, politicians, NGOs joined the Bhog Ceremony in memory of Kamal Sharma who died due to heart attack on 27th October on Diwali Day, during his morning walk.
Parminder Singh Pinki, Congress MLA, Ferozepur, speaking on the occasion, announced to develop Kamal Sharma Memorial Park at a cost of Rs.40 lac in the heart of the city near Punjab Housing Board Colony. But it was very unfortunate that despite the presence of galaxy of BJP leaders, none of the them announced any relief for the family and memorial for its national leader.
Prominent personalities present on this occasion were – BJP Cabinet Minister Jatinder Singh, Centre State Minister Som Parkash, BJP Punjab President Shawet Malik, Gurdaspur MP Sunny Deol, Vijay Sampla, Tarun Chugh, RSS leader Kashmiri Lal, Rajindeer Mohan Chhina, Vinit Joshi, Punjab BJP Incharge Parkash Jha, Joginder Singh Jindu, former SAD MLA, Avtar Singh Minna, Masgter Mohan Lal, Jugraj Singh Katora, Davinder Bajaj, Ashwani Sharma, Punjab BJP leadership, SAD senior leader and Parminder Singh Pinki, Parminder Singh Dhindsa, Congress leaders and MLAs. Paying tributes, all said, we have lost such a leader the loss of which irreparable.
Sharing on the life history of Kamal Sharma, the leader said, Kamal Sharma was born in a simple family but with his dedication and devotion towards the party, he elevated himself to such a position for which every leader is aspirant. It is a great loss to the family, society, party and nation as well.
Paying floral tributes and sharing condolence with Shashi Sharma wife of Kamal Sharma, son Susmit Sharma, daughter Shubra and other family members, all expressed deep profound grief with them and those present were seen with gloomy faces.
