Pak mobile operators expanded the network, signals available on mobile screen in border villages
Ferozepur, October 10, 2019: While Pakistan has dropped the weapons in Tarn Taran area with the help of drones and the same are also seen near Indo-Pak border Hussainiwala locations in Ferozepur and now the mobile operators in Pak have also expanded their network coverage as the same is available on mobile screens, in this area.
In the past three days, the movement of drones have been noticed in the villages near the zero line – Hazara Singh Wala and Tendiwala and extensive search operation by a joint team of BSF and Punjab Police including 150 SWAT team members were carried out but nothing was found.
BSF had also reportedly lodged a protest about the movement of drones with Pakistani counterparts during a Flag Meeting but ruled out any link to the incident, sources said.
The mobile network appearing on the mobile screens are Jazz and ZONG operators. Even Pakistan's time on the mobile screen is also being shown in certain villages near the border, which is 30 minutes behind Indian time.
It’s a common discussion among the people of the border villages that the range of Pak network has been expanded in order to establish quick and easy contact with the smugglers. In the border villages, now along with the sightings of drones, the Pak companies’ network is also appearing on the screens of their mobiles.
There had also been a recovery of 2 kg heroin worth Rs.10 crore on October 9.
