One death and 19 Corona +ve cases including CID, BSF officials, prisoner reported in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, August 5, 2020:  The total number of Corona positive cases since its outbreak, has gone to 585, with addition to 19 cases of today besides one death of Nishan Singh 62 year old of village Peera Wala.

As per the details, in the fresh 19 cases of today, 8 are new Influenza Infection – ILI cases, 8 contacts, one prisoner, one international traveler whereas one belongs to Ludhiana and include one each of CID staff Zira and BSF Ferozepur.

As of now, the active Corona cases in the district are 314 while 257 have since been recovered and discharged with 8 deaths.

The new 19 cases, the samples of which were taken on Aug 3 and in 6 cases on July 31 have been reported positive today and are from the areas of Makhu, Janata Preet Nagar,  Sodhe Wala, Peerawala, Bedi Colony, Khalsa Colony, Gobar Mandi Ferozepur City, Bazar No.1 Cantt,  Rao Ke Hittar, Gandhu Kilcha Utar,   in the district and are in the age group of 19-67 years.

The new 19 cases, the samples of which were taken on Aug 3 and in 6 cases on July 31 have been reported positive today and are from the areas of Sodhi Nagar, Sant Lal Road, Multani Gate, Makhu, Janata Preet Nagar, Khilchi Jadid, Sodhe Wala, Peerawala, Bedi Colony, Khalsa Colony, Gobar Mandi Ferozepur City, Bazar No.1 Cantt,  Rao Ke Hittar, Gandhu Kilcha Utar,   in the district and are in the age group of 19-67 years – 7 female, 18 male.
