On sad demise of Kamal Sharma – May his soul rest in Peace and Praise

A pall of gloom descended in Ferozepur on the said demise of Kamal Sharma, 50 years old, on 27th October, 2019 (Monday). He is survived by his wife Shahshi Sharma and two children – son – Susmit, pursuing Law at Chandigarh and daughter – Shubra studying in Plus One.
Being a good orator and motivational speaker, Kamal Sharma right from his college career active in students organizations and later become active leader of ABVP for 19 years, from 1985 to 2003. In 2004, he was appointed as Media Advisor to Khadi & Village Industry Commission of India in 2004-06. He was again appointed as State General Secretary in 2010. In 2012. Kamal Sharma was appointed as Political Advisor to the Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal. On 15th January,2013 he was appointed as Punjab President of Bhartiya Janata Party.
He was former BJP President and now a member of the National Working Committee of the Bhartiya Janata Party. He had resigned from the post of Punjab BJP Chief in 2015 amid a rift between party works.
Today in the morning he had gone for a morning walk on the Mall Road where he suffered a heart attack and was taken to a local hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Before leaving for a morning walk, he had greeted people of Diwali through his Twitter handle, said a close aide of Kamal Sharma.
In 2017, Kamal Sharma had a problem with irregular heartbeat and was operated by putting a stunt in the heart arteries. In the meantime, he has recovered and quite active in national, state and local activities. Recently, he had been a part of the campaign in the elections in Haryana.
Immediately on getting the news by the locals, the social media groups were flooded with messages expressing their sentiments on the death of Kamal Sharma.
Kamal Sharma was a man of commitment loved by one and all irrespective of his association with the particular political party and seen almost at all the local social functions.
He had a love for his birthplace – Ferozepur and had been instrumental in pursuing various development works.
His is irreparable not only for the family but to the party and locals as well. One has to bow before the orders of Almighty/Nature especially when Kamal Sharma has died on the day of celebrations of Diwali.
Because of his nature and popularity, number of people, political, locals or social organizations representatives, directly or indirectly attached with him, were seen standing outside his house since morning sharing the happy moments with Kamal Sharma.
