Ferozepur: 61 new COVID+ve cases, 5 deaths and 87 recoveries
Ferozepur, June 12, 2021: Dip trend in Covid positive cases is continuing in the district and on Saturday 61 new Covid positive cases, 5 deaths and 87 recoveries have been reported.
We must maintain this dipping status at any cost by sacrificing over all other priorities to follow the guidelines by the health department, to wear masks, maintain social distance and washing hands frequently, said the health official.
As per the report, 1,90,888 samples were taken in the district, out of which 1,76,819 were tested negative, 13,632 positive, 12,581 recovered, 613 active cases.
With five deaths between 22 to 80 years of age, 4 female one male, in Ferozshah, Kassoana, Mamdot, and Ferozepur Urban blocks, the death tally has gone to 432 in the district.
With lifting of restrictions from 5 micro containment zones in the district, still in all 28 – three containment and 25 micro containment zones are still under observation of health department.
The Black Fungus tally has gone to 10 now in the district, with seven under treatment in this hospitals, 2 cured and one died.
