MLA, DC holds meeting with locals, 300 CCTV cameras to be installed in Ferozpur

Ferozepur, February 21, 2024: The Punjab government is with every class including traders, farmers, industrialists, labourers and employees and striving to increase their facilities without any financial burden on the people and shortly 300 CCTV cameras will be installed in Ferozepur City and Cantonment areas, at strategic locations and hotspots, to maintain strict surveillance and to ensure safety of citizens and action against those involved in any criminal activity.  This was expressed by MLA Ferozepur Urban, Ranbir Singh Bhullar and Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Dhiman while holding a meeting with the locals.

 

During the meeting, various issues including law and order security, GST, trade, electricity and various departmental approvals etc. were discussed in detail while having feedback about the problems being faced.  Both MLA and DC assured of a suitable solution to each problem.

 

Apart from this, during the meeting, MLA and DC said that more than 300 CCTVs will be installed in Ferozepur City and cantonment to keep all kinds of surveillance including security, which will be controlled in the control room of Punjab Police. They said that if anyone wants to attach their cameras to this system, they can do it too.

 

Meanwhile, MLA Bhullar appealed that cameras should be installed in their homes, shops and other commercial places and chowkidar should be kept jointly at their shops as per requirement. In case of any problem, the same should be brought to his notice for an instant appropriate solution.

 

On this occasion, ADC(G) Dr Nidhi Kumad Bambha, Secretary Red Cross Ashok Bahl, and local representatives from various sections were present.
