“Mela Tiyan Da” left unforgettable and powerful impact in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, September 26, 2016:  To promote the Punjabi legacy, “Mela Tiyan Da” was organized at village Nur Pur Sethan near Ferozepur – known as the best village of India – by Sher-e-Punjab Sports Club and Youth Welfare Club in association with North Zone Culture Centre Patiala and Baba Kundan Singh College Muhar.

 

The festival was inaugurated by Inderjit Kaur, Judge District Consumer Forum and Baldev Singh Bhullar, Member.

 

The programme started with the religious song followed by presentation by various prominent artists with their melodious voice – Davinder Singh Sandhu, R.Captain, Sukhi Sukhjinder, Amanat Preet and Mannat Noor.

 

Others who participated with their best performance were Jaila Sandhu, Pamma Dumewal.  Famous comedians – Harinder Singh Bhullar and Gurnam Sidhu Gama – performed the anchoring of the programme with their satirical dialogue and tit-bits.

 

Prominent among the dignitaries were – Joginder Singh Jindu, MLA Rural, Sher Singh Ghubaya, MP, Parminder Singh MLA and Chhatar Pal Singh, Chairman, Pungrain Punjab.

 

Overall, the Mela Tiyan Da left unforgettable and powerful impact in the area which is being organized for the last more than a decade, said Harcharan Singh Sama of Nur Pur Sethan.
