Killing of two Akalis in Ferozepur: Sukhbir Badal gives 48 hrs ultimatum to police to arrest the accused

Ferozepur, May 4, 2017  :  Sukhbir Singh Badal, Ex-Deputy Chief Minister, Punjab and President Shiromani Akali Dal was here today to join the protest against the attack on the family of Akali leader Balwinder Singh -wherein his father Harnam Singh and brother Joginder Singh were killed, while he sustained bullet injuries.

Sukhbir after having briefing from the local leaders for about half an hour and then talking to senior police officers while sitting in his car, addressed the gathering.

He said, an account of each officer is being maintained and for any excesses on the Akali, we will ask them at the appropriate time while in power and the period of five years will pass like flicking of the year.

He further said that an ultimatum of 48 hours is given to the police to arrest all the accused failing further course of action to be adopted will be given to you.
