In Ferozepur, 29 officials in vigilance net during one year
Ferozepur, March 19, 2018: In 25 cases, 29 officers/officials were arrested during the last one year from April 2017 to February 2018, in different cases, in corruption cases.
Conveying this thanks to the people of Ferozepur for extending cooperation to Vigilance Department to curb the corruption, Hargobind Singh, SSP Vigilance, Ferozepur said, in case any officer or official try to harass any person, information to the nearest vigilance bureau may be contacted to get assistance or register their complaint on toll free number 1800-1800-1000.
SSP said, during the last one year from April 2017 to February 2018, with the cooperation of people, 29 officers/officials in 25 cases were arrested which include SC Commission member, Khadi Board Organizer, 2 police inspectors, 6 ASI, 4 Hav, 2 Sepoy, 2 FCI officials, 2 JE, one auditor, 4 patwaris of revenue department, one SDO Power Corporation, one Suwidha Centre in charge, one clerk Wakf Board, one Inspector Industrial Deptt and Group Instruction of ITI.
Conveying thanks to the official, Manjit Singh, DSP Vigilance Bureau said, in case the people want to shun the menace of corruption, then each case has to be brought to the notice of vigilance bureau, to curb it.
