Ex-servicemen should avail Army Canteen services for their family members only : Major Pardeep Kumar
Ferozepur, April 4,2015 : Ex-servicemen League (IESL) in its monthly meeting held at Moga near Ferozepur appealed to all ex-servicemen to avail the army canteen services for their family members only so that maximum members of the league could enjoy available benefits by the Government of India.
Speaking on this occasion, Major(Retd.) Pardeep Kumar Shinh said, in the meeting, a demand was also put forth before the government to exempt 16000 ex-servicemen of Moga district from various tool-tax besides charging no parking fee from them while visiting the district administrative complex (DAC).
Major Pardeep informed to the house about the sudden sad demise of Ex.Col J.S.Gill. Later, the condolences were paid by keeping one minute silence and prayed to grant peace to the departed soul.
Present among others on this occasion were – Mangat Rai Gangi, Sewa Singh, Sub.Gurcharan Singh, Sergent S.Cheema, Ajemr Singh, Hav Baldev Singh, Dalip Singh, Jaswant Singh, Lachhman Singh, Hony.CaptS.C.Sharma and various other ex-servicemen.
