Har Ghar Tiranga: Ferozepur administration sets a target of hoisting national flag on one lakh homes

Ferozepur, August 9, 2022: To make the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign to mark the platinum jubilee celebrations as  75th Amrit Maha Utsav of Independence will start from August 13 to 15, a success by aiming at hoisting the national flag on one lakh homes in the district, the rituals have been started across the country and one lakh houses are expected to hoist national flag in Ferozepur.

The national call from the Prime Minister is for hoisting the national flag on more than 20 crore houses in the country to celebrate the occasion of the country’s 75th Independence Day as a mega national festival.

Arun Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner (D) said, as per the guidelines of the Central and Punjab government, the instructions have been issued and the distribution of flags was already underway, to sell one lakh flag at a cost of Rs.25 by putting up a counter at various offices at banks, Zila Parishad, Milk booths etc.

It is said that there is also a plan to start a campaign to promote the use of swadeshi attires like khadi and cotton during these programmes would also be taken up.
