Hans Foundation Organizes Blood Donation Camp at Ferozepur Municipal Council
Ferozepur, August 13, 2024:
The Hans Foundation’s Mobile Medical Unit organized a blood donation camp at the Municipal Council campus on Tuesday, under the supervision of Project Coordinator Rimpal Handa. The camp successfully collected 50 units of blood, thanks to the enthusiastic participation of donors.
The event was meticulously managed by a dedicated team from The Hans Foundation, including Programme Manager Harish Chander Pandey, Project Manager Harish Mohan Kukreti, Project Coordinator Rimpal Handa, SPO Neepal Sheron, Dr Lovepreet, pharmacists Khushi Singh and Raghav, Lab Technician Gaurav, and Pardeep, the pilot of the mobile unit.
The camp received significant support from the Civil Hospital Ferozepur team, including Dr. Dishvin, Programme Manager, Bandana, MLT, Savita, Counselor, Vandana, Staff Nurse, and Karan, Attendant.
The blood donation camp was inaugurated by Rinku Grover, President of the Municipal Council, along with the MCs, who honoured both the donors and the medical team. Speaking at the event, Grover emphasized the importance of blood donation, stating, “Blood can only be donated by one human to another; it cannot be manufactured in any laboratory. This is why blood donation is considered the most noble of all donations, as it saves lives. I urge the youth to come forward and donate blood whenever needed to help save precious lives.”
The camp was a significant success, reflecting the community’s commitment to supporting health initiatives in Ferozepur.
