Hans Foundation joins hands with Red Cross, Ferozepur Foundation, gives wheelchair to disabled girl

Ferozepur, December 20, 2023:  The Hans Foundation – established in 2009 to support development at the grassroots and improve the quality of life of underprivileged communities across rural India in the fields of health, disability, education, livelihood, and disaster relief – today joined hands with Ashok Behal, Secretary Red Cross and Shalinder, Founder, Ferozepur Foundation and provided a wheelchair to a disabled girl – Pardeep Kaur.

Neelam, a Team member said, that only four months back we started organizing the camps and so far we have checked up around 300 persons to date. She said, “From time to time we organize camps according to the awareness days calendar by WHO and give awareness to the society with guidelines and health care, with a message of prevention is better than cure”.  We feel pleasure today in handing over the wheelchair to the disabled girl.
