Habit of cleanliness implanted among students through Poster Making Competition

Ferozepur, October 5, 2017: If the habit of cleanliness implanted  among the students, it will definitely have impacts in the coming years when they are pass-out from the schools and the day will not be too far to stand with the other countries who are known for cleanliness.

‘It is a national level campaign run by the Indian Government to cover all the backward statutory towns to make them clean. This campaign involves the construction of toilets, promoting sanitation programmes in the rural areas, cleaning streets, roads and changing the infrastructure of the country to lead the country ahead.

Such initiative of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan – the Clean India Mission or Clean India drive or Swachh Bharat Campaign was taken at the local Government High School Ruhela Hazi by organizing the Poster Making Competition under the guidance of Mr. Ramvir Ji Deputy Commissioner Ferozepur, D.E.O(S.E) Ferozepur Malkeet Singha and Deputy DEO(SE)Pargat Singh Brar. 

 

The students enthusiastically took part in the competition by making the posters depicting the pluses and minuses of the impact of pollution. The winners were awarded, said Rajiv Handa, who organized the competition in the school.

 

He said, cleanliness is a fundamental responsibility of every citizen of the country.
