Govt issues notification for attaching 10 Block Ghall Khurd villages with Ferozepur
Ferozepur July 9, 2018: The Punjab Govt has issued notification for attaching of ten villages of Block Ghall Khurd with Ferozepur for the convenience of the people of the area for the last 40 years.
The ten villages of Block Ghall Khurd merges with Ferozepur are Hastiwala, Nathuwala, Basti Khem Karan, Basti Valik, Peeruwala,Bagge Ke Pippal,Pir Ahed Khan, Kotwal,Shahdeen Wala said Parminder Singh Pinki,MLA Ferozepur.
He said, earlier the residents of these villages used to go to Ghall Khurd Block office at a distance of 35-40 km during the last four decades. The matter was taken up with Capt Amarinder Singh and solved immediately. Now all the villages come within the radius of 10 km of Ferozepur.
He said, the Rural Development and Panchayat Department on having the consent of Punjab Governor issued the notification to this effect under No.2907 dated June 27, 2018.
