Four youths attack woman with swords on road in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, February 20, 2023:  In a shocking incident, a woman was attached by four youths in cantonment area near the ‘baz wala’ crossing in cantonment area when she reported to have  come out of court after appearing in some case and the cops in uniform near the spot did not bother to save the woman. The youths after the attack are seen fled the spot.

Unfortunate of the incident was that everyone on the road sanding chose to be mute spectators. A video has also gone on the social media of this attack which has raised a question mark on the law and order situation in the area.

In the viral video, it could be seen that four youths had come on two motor cycles and attacked on woman with swords in their hands.  She was seriously injured in head and arms, and she was first taken to the local hospital from where she was referred to Faridkot medical college.

SP Gurmit Singh Cheema informed that we are investigating into the matter and attackers will be nabbed shortly.
