Flag-hoisting ceremony held amid rain in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, August 15, 2018: Despite the continuous heavy rain, a good number of people participated in the Independence Day event, reflecting enthusiasm and unity of the nation.

The Flag hoisting ceremony was performed by Vijay Inder Singla, Cabinet Minister, PWD and Information Technology.

Present among others on this occasion were – Secretary PWD Hasan Lal, MLA Ferozepur Urban Parminder Singh Pinki, MLA Rural Satkar Kaur Gehri, MLA Zira, Kulbir Singh Zira, Commissioner Ferozepur Division, Sumer Gurjar, IPG Ferozepur Gurinder Singh Dhillon, Deputy Commissioner Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal, SSP Pritam Singh, District and Session Judge S.K.Aggarwal, ADC(G) Gurmit Singh Multani, AC(G) Ranjit Singh, Congress leader Hira Sodhi, District Congress President Chamkaur Singh Dhindsa besides in good number of officers, political leaders, students from different schools, teachers and representatives of panchayats.
