Fit India Movement: BSF Cyclothon gets warm welcome on reaching Ferozepur
Ferozepur, August 23, 2021: Under Fit India Movement, the Cycle Rally – BSF Cyclothon was given a warm welcome on reaching Ferozepur today.
On the occasion of 75th Independence day, BSF has organised Freedom Run /Cyclothon starting from Jammu to Gujarat from 15th August 2021 to 2nd October 2021, in which 100 BSF personnel of all ranks are participating to spread the message of “Fit India Movement”
This cycle rally will pass through Punjab covering district Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Ferozepur and Fazilka from 18th to 29th August 2021.
This Cycle Rally is aimed at spreading the message of utmost dedication to National Security, awareness against Drugs, Swachh Bharat, Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat, Ayushman Bharat Yojana and to spread the message of physical fitness amongst the citizen and particularly amongst the youth.
Today, on 23rd August, Cyclothon commenced from BSF HQ Bikiwind at about 7 AM in the morning and traversed through Amarkot, Valtoha, Tut ,Bandala bridge ,Arif ke , Ferozpur city and reached BSF HQ KMS Wala.
During the rally in border areas of Distt. Tarntaran & Ferozpur, Cyclothon received very warm welcome from local habitats and BSF forward-deployed troops.
Rally has showcased the message of FIT India movement & its benefits, awareness about contribution in national security, awareness against drugs, clean Bharat Swatch Bharat and Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.
