Firing in College campus in Ferozepur, none injured, 4 booked on CCTV footage

Ferozepur, March 18, 2016:  Four persons have booked in a firing incident in the local college campus on the basis of CCTV footage.  None was injured in the incident and prima-facie it looks to be a case of enmity between the two groups of the students.

As per the information, the incident took place at about 11 AM in the college campus on Thursday when a dispute arose between Gurpreet Singh alais Saim and Sandeep Singh students.

The situation was tense in the college campus after the incident. However, with the help of CCTV footage, the students involved in the incident were identified.

Principal of the college did not pick up the phone despite repeatedly calling to know about the incident in the campus.

According to police officials investigating in to the case confirmed that all the four persons involved in firing incident have been identified as Gurpreet Singh alias Saim of Talwandi Bhai, Sandeep Singh of village Mast ke, Gurpreet singh of Ferozepur Cantt and Angrez Singh of Maste Ke.

Confirming the firing incident in local RSD College, Vibhore Sharma, DSP said, four persons have been booked in the firing incident and investigations are on to ascertain about the fire arms used in the firing.
