Ferozepur police nabs one vehicle lifter’s gang member with 11 stolen bikes

Ferozepur, November 6, 2020: Under its special launched campaign the Ferozepur police are keeping a cat eye on the unscrupulous persons, anti-social elements, drug smugglers and got success in busting the gang of bike lifters with the arrest of one person with 11 stolen bikes.

Giving this information, SSP Bhupinder Singh said, a tip-off was received that a bike lifters gang of Sukhdev alias Sukha and Luvpreet alias Rinki, are active in this area and selling the stolen vehicles by changing the number plates and coming towards Guruharsahai Golu Ka Moud.

He further said, the police team led by Mukhtiar Rai SP(D) along with Ravinder Singh Dhillon, DSP(D), Balwant Singh Inspector, In charge of Narcotic Cell, Narinder Pal Singh ASI working on a tip-off nabbed one bike lifters gang, Sukhdev Singh, alias Sukha and recovered one bike with the fake number as PB05AD-7840 and later on, ten more stolen bikes were recovered at the spotted place.

Raids being conducted to nab Rinki the other gang member and in the meanwhile, a case against two persons have been registered and investigations are on.  More clues and recovery of stolen motorcycles are expected during the course of further inquiry.
