Ferozepur Cantonment Board school students excel in Western Command Cultural Competition
Ferozepur, December 1, 2016: In the Cantonment Boards Western Command Cultural Competition participated by 13 Cantt Board Schools held at Amabala Cantt, the students of Ferozepur excelled in various events.
Giving this information, Suwarsha Rani, Principal, Sun Shine School said, in all 1200 students from 13 Cantt Board Schools, 112 students from Ferozepur participated in the various competitions- solo song, group song, painting, skit, classical dance and other cultural programs. The students of Ferozepur did extremely well and bagged first the prize in group song sub-junior, senior group song girls and solo songs senior, second in sub-junior boys, second in skit and solo song boys senior, third in group dance jindua, and third in skit.
She further said, the students were honoured with 12 shields, 84 mementos and certificates in different events.
Present on this occasion were Om Pal Singh, CEO Cantt Board, Satish Arora, SDE, Manjit Singh, Supdt, Yogesh Kumar, Accounant, staff, students and parents.
