Ferozepur Advocates on 4 days’ strike, Nagpal has not been found guilty in inquiry by S.P.(D)
Ferozepur, 30 January (FON Bureau) : The Advocates have decided to proceed on 4 days strike to register protest for registration of case at Sadar Police Station S.S.Nagpal, Advocate, President District Bar Association for depositing the injured person in an accident in the hospital for treatment.
Today was the first day of boycott of courts by the advocates and it will continue upto February 3 and in case the case is not withdrawn against the President, DBA, then a state level call for strike will be given.
The case has been registered against S.S.Nagpal, President, District Bar Association under sections 279, 338, 337and 427 IPC.
The Bar Association members informed that S.S.Nagpal got admitted the injired person injured due to accident in the hospital to save his life but the police have registered a case against him.
The advocates of Ferozepur had also met IG Bhatinda, DIG Ferozepur Rang with a demand to cancel the case against the President Bar Association but without any fruitful result, they informed. They further said, Nagpal has not been found guilty in the enquiry conducted by S.P.(D)Fazilka but the Ferozepur police has not cancelled the case against him.
