Ferozepur, December 19, 2021: In the recently concluded annual elections of District Bar Association, Ferozepur under the direction of Punjab-Haryana Bar Council, Advocate Baljit Singh Dhaliwal has been elected as President while Chetan Pal Singh Jossan as V and Ashish Sharma as Secretary.
Gurmit Singh, Returning Officer, former President Jasdeep Kamboj, and Advo Bipan Wadhawan informed that in this election, out of 488 advocates, 447 cast their votes.
Advocate Gurmail Singh, Harwinder Singh, Indu Rani, Pankaj Sharma, Rahul, Rajat Sharma, Vinod Handa, and Advocate Pankaj Sharma were nominated as Executive Committee members.
Thanking all the advocates, the newly elected office-bearers said, our top priority will be to safeguard the interests of the advocate fraternity. The new responsibility has filled them with more humility to serve the people and advocate fraternity. It is a huge responsibility which we will fulfill zealously, they added.
