Ferozepur: 8 Corona +ve cases reported, one micro containment zone declared

Ferozepur, July 19, 2021: With surfacing of 8 fresh Corona positive cases in Ferozepur district, the health department has declared one miro-containment zone in Kassoana block.

As per the information, 2,24,207 samples were taken for Covid testing since its outbreak, out of which 2,09,570 were tested negative, 14,183 positive, 13,644 recovered, 53 still active and reports of 454 samples still awaited.

With fresh reporting of new 8 Corona positive cases after zero case for few days, one micron containment zone has been declared in Kassoana block.  However, there had been 486 deaths due to Covid in the district.

So far as Black Fungus is concerned, one new case was reported today taking the total tally to 16, out of which 6 are admitted for treatment, 7 cured, one died and two left after medical advice (LAMA).
