Er.DPS Kharbanda, DC Ferozepur receives ‘SKOCH Order-of-Merit” award
Ferozepur, September 8, 2016: The District Administration, Ferozepur has been awarded “Skoch Order-of-Merit” for qualifying amongst Top 100 Projects in India for Skill Development and Self Employment on Thursday at Hyderabad.
Er.DPS Kharbanda, Deputy Commissioner and his team was selected for this award by Skoch Consultancy Pvt. Ltd, based on the philosophy of spearheading positive socio-economic changes through recognizing persons who have contributed immensely to salutary transformations in society and governance by displaying exemplary leadership abilities.
The Skoch Order-of-Merit award was conferred upon Er.DPS Kharbanda, Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur by Sameer Kochhar, Chairman, SKOCH Group, at 45th Skoch Summit on 8th-9th September, 2016 at HICC Complex, Hitec City, Hyderabad, for doing such an exemplary work and serving the country well
Conveying his thanks and giving credit for this award to entire team of the district administration, Er.Kharbanda said, Ferozepur has now figured at national level, so far as the development is concerned. Out of total 3700 districts of the country, our district has come among first 50 districts in the top 100 projects in India.
He said, “With beautification and enhancement of greenery around us and launching of skill development and self employment, we can contribute towards the Swachh Bharat and Make in India, movements of our Prime Minister Narendera Modi”. Self employment is only the cureable medicine for unemployment disease through skill development programmes, he added.
