Ek Saal Delhi Behal – One Year Delhi Miserable – titled posters appear in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, February 27, 2016 : The posters of Arvind Kejriwal, Aam Aadmi Party Convener and Delhi Chief Minister, with title Ek Saal Delhi Behal – One year Delhi Miserable – were seen pasted on the walls of the city.
Added here that Arvind Kejriwal is on five day’s visit to Punjab ahead of Punjab elections due in 2017 accompanied by Suchha Singh Chhotepur,State Convener and Bhagwant Singh Mann, MP alongwith hundreds of AAP workers.
The posters depict the promises and achievements of Kejriwal as Delhi Chief Minister – opening of 500 new schools but none opened so far, 500 mohalla clinics whereas only one opened, construction of 8000 rooms in running schools but no room constructed, opening of 20 new colleges but none has come up, recruitment of 4000 doctors and 15,000 nurses but not even a single recruitment made, free wi-fi but not yet implemented, regularize unauthorized colonies but none regularized, corruption-free Delhi but there is no change, filling up of 55,000 government posts against which only 1500 hundred filled, construction of 2 lac toilets in authorized colonies but not even a single constructed so far, installation of 15 lac CCTV cameras and none installed so far, deployment of 10,000 Female Home Guard jawans but no female home guards deployed so far while the crime against women has increased.
During the Punjab tour of Kejriwal, there had been opposition from Youth Congress and Akali leaders and scuffle at Paki village in Jalalabad area represented by Sukhbir Singh Badal, Deputy Chief Minister, Punjab wherein the Congress workers were injured.
Even Sunil Jakhar, Congress leader has reacted sharply to the ongoing five days’ visit of Punjab by Arvind Kejriwal that Punjab needed an experienced hand to lead the state and not a novice like Kejriwal.
Apart from this, there is also a wards from the SAD-BJP leaders accusing each other leveling charges and counter-charges.
When Dr.Pardeep Rana, an active leader of Aam Aadmi Party – AAP contacted, he said, the pasting of posters in the city is a conspiracy to defame the party which is getting momentum in the state in view of the coming elections in 2017.
He further stated that these posters were also pasted on the walls before the visit of Kejriwal in Abohar area during late night hours just to tarnish the image of the party leader.
Talking about the achiements, he said, it is the first year, one model project has been constructed at Peragarhi at a cost of Rs.20 lac which was estimated at Rs.3 crore in the budget. Against, home guards, he said, 8000 have been recruited giving the name as Marshal and deployed in the buses.
Regarding the recruitment of teachers, he said, online process of registration has been started with total transparency and leaving no chance for corruption at any level.
Rana said, it is very unfortunate that whosoever have arranged the posters, he should have dared to write his name which clearly speaks of malign the image of the party in view of its gaining popularity in the state. Rather, it is a publicity of the party and the development works will itself speak in the coming years.
