Dr Sushil Mittal takes over charge as Vice Chancellor SBS State University Ferozepur

Ferozepur, March 1, 2024: Dr Sushil Mittal SBS has taken charge as the Vice Chancellor of the Shaheed Bhagat Singh State University. The Punjab Government has given the Additional charge of Vice Chancellor of State University Ferozepur to Dr Sushil Mittal.  The university staff warmly welcomed him and expressed happiness over this decision of the Punjab government.

On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor promised to release the salaries of the university staff for the last eight months from the government and asked them to withdraw the pen-down strike and return to their work. On assurance, the staff postponed their pen-down strike.

Added here, Dr Shusheel Mittal from November 2021 to serve as Vice-Chancellor of SBS State University, Gurdaspur. Before this, he also served at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology from 1989 and served as Deputy Director, Dean of Research and Sponsored Projects and Head of the School of Chemistry.
