Skill training is important in the global competition era to stand on your own feet : Kataria & Monga
Ferozepur, October 20, 2015 : Under directions of District Administration, Vocational and Counseling Programme was organized at Govt. Sr.School, Hazara Singh Wala (Mamdot) near Ferozepur to create awareness among the students.
The key note speakers were Rajinder Kataria, Dy.Director(Fisheries) and Harish Monga, Pvt.Secty. (Retired MARKFED).
Deputy Commissioner confirmed that five teams with four resource persons in each team will be visiting 45 Govt. Senior Secondary Schools in the district to put wiser the students about the vocational training opportunities available at the district headquarter and loans facilities for starting their own business.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajinder Kataria in his rustic style highlighted the vocational training opportunities available at the district headquaters and facilities of various loans with subsidy to start their own business by getting the skill training.
Harish Monga sharing his life experiences said, education plays an important role in one's life. Because of global competition, the government job avenues are available for all and the students must get themselves trained in skill various skill works to stand on their own feet.
The students of the school also presented a cultural programme.
The Principal, teaching and non-teaching staff was also present on this occasion.
