Former BJP CPS Nannu burns Kejriwal’s effigy

Ferozepur, July 8, 2016: Today, former CPS BJP, Sukhpal Singh Nannu registered protest alongwith his supporters with burning of Arvind Kejriwal, AAP Supremo in effigy for insulting and disrespecting Guru Granth Sahib by equating itnwith a frivolous manifesto released by Aam Aadmi Party  and for publishing the Golden Temple’s picture on its manifesto along with the party’s symbol “Broom”.

In the context of series of protest by various political leaders and parties, later on, Sukhpal Singh Nannu presented a memorandum to Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur.

In a memorandum, Nannu has condemned the act on the part of Aam Aadmi Party for  disrespecting and insulting the Holy Book and attaching a photo of broom – the party symbol on the Sri Harmandar Sahib photo. It is a conspiracy to disturb the peaceful atmosphere in the state.

He demanded from the government to take stringent action against the AAP party leaders so that in future no political party may date to hurt the religious sentiments of the people.
