Covid-19: Ferozepur heading in right direction with 95 percent recovery
Ferozepur, November 16, 2020: The Ferozepur is heading in the right direction with a recovery rate of Corona positive cases as 95 percent in the district. Only three Corona positive cases have been reported in Ferozepur and presently 75 active cases are under monitoring in the district.
Giving this information, Gurplal Singh Chahal, DC Ferozepur said, in all 55,562 samples were taken for testing for Coronavirus including 129 of today, out of which 51,266 were found negative, 4296 as positive, 4089 recovered and the recovery rate is 95 percent which has almost flattened the coronagraph curve.
However, there had been 132 deaths due to Corona positive in the district including one today of 77 years male in Ferozepur.
Making an appeal to the people of the district to maintain the recovery status, he said, still in case anyone feel the symptoms of Covid-19, he should immediately go in for a test instead of fearing for the consequences and follow the medical protocols of wearing of masks, frequently washing hand and maintaining social distancing. He said only with your cooperation, we can completely win over the coronavirus rather than contribute in stoping its further transmission.
