Court acquits SAD leader Vardev Mann alias Noni Mann in attempt to murder case during 2013

Ferozepur, April 18, 2016:  Today, SAD leader Vardev Mann alias Noni Mann and his associates – Gursewak Singh Kash Maan Advocate, Rohit Kmar Vohra and Bachittar Singh – were acquitted by the Additional Judge, in attempt to murder case during  2013 Block Samiti elections.   The supporters of Nony Mann were in jubilant mood and distributed sweets.

The court has acquitted the SAD leader for insufficient evidence.

Added here that during 2013 Block Samiti elections, Nasib Singh Sandhu, PA to Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi, Congress MLA from Guruharsahai had recorded his statement before the police for firing with an attempt to murder,  against Vardev Singh Mann SAD leader and this three associates, after admitting himself in the civil hospital.  After conduct of enquiry  by the senior police officers, the charges by Nasib Singh Sandhu were found to be false.  Later on, Sandhu had filed a defamation case in the court.

On this occasion, Maan said that he had full faith in the judiciary and it was a victory of truth. A large number of his supporters including Advocate Arwinderjeet Singh Mintu, Prem Sachdeva urban president of local unit of SAD, Manish Kandhari, Jasahnpreet, Surinder Maaru, Naresh Sikri, Hardev Singh Nijjer, Happy Brar Jhanduwala, Deepak Vohra, Kapil Kandhari, Amit arora were also present on this occasion. They greeted each others on this decision of the court.
