Class VII student writes letter with blood to PM to support her depressed father

Ferozepur, August 17, 2017:  For the second time, a 12-year- old Kirandeep Kaur from Mamdot, has once again written a letter with her blood to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Modi uncle yeh khoon apki Beti Bachao Beti Padhao ka hai. hamein apna hakk lene ke liye baar baar khoon bahana parh raha hai. kripya hamein nayay deejiye” (Dear Modi Uncle, this blood is of your Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao. Why we have to shed blood for our rights. Please ensure justice for us.) 

Earlier also, she had written a letter to Prime Minister Narendera Modi  in blood to support his parents who had rented a building to CDPO office for not paying the rent since 2014. Following up the news, all the rent around Rs.2 lac was instantly paid on the same day, by the then Deputy Commissioner, Ferozepur, DPS Kharbanda on appearing of news on Babushahhi.com  But the electricity bill of four years was not paid.  Now again the rent for 11 months is due.

Kaur mentioned that his father owns 12 kanals of land and is under severe depression at the moment. The girl has also mentioned in the letter that his father might commit suicide due to harassment. In a letter written in September 2016, the then Deputy Commissioner Ferozepur DPS Kharbanda immediately came in to action and deposited pending amount in their account.

When talked to Randhir Singh Dhira father of Kirandeep Kaur, he in a very dishearted tone said, I am thankful to babushahi.com for highlighting earlier and hope this time too I will get the rent and the department will clear the electricity bill dues which has accumulated to more than Rs.42,000.

Despite calling the CDPO could not be contacted.  However, the sources said, a case has been sent to the head office but the official approval and budget is yet to be received.
