MILITARY EQUIPMENT AND BAND DISPLAY : 15 JAN 2021
The might of Indian Army was on display at Ferozepur Cantt on 15th January 2021 as part of ‘Know Your Army’ campaign on Army Day 2021 by The Golden Arrow Division. The event was an endeavour by Golden Arrow Division to spread awareness and pride amongst the youth and school children about the culture, ethos and way of life of Indian Army and motivate them to join the Armed Forces.
Sophisticated and new generation weapons and equipments used by various arms of the army including Infantry, Armoured, Artillery, Engineers and Signals were displayed at the Hony Capt Sunder Singh Stadium. A Military Band Display was also part of the event. It played traditional marital tunes and enthralled the crowd with its majestic display. The spirit and eagerness of the visitors added zest to the occasion. An Information Counter with detailed information regarding various entry schemes to join the Indian Army was also setup to provide necessary guidance to the students during the display.
