Church of Living Hope observes Good Friday through Cross-March in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, April 15, 2022: The Church of Living Hope today holds Cross-March on the occasion of Good Friday led by Pastor MM Johnson along with Robin John, Pastor Hadayat Gill, Bakshish Masih, Jackob Khokhar George Gilll Ashok Kumar, and Lazar Bhatti, for the peace of all the people on planet earth.
Christians of many denominations around the world observe the day with services, fasting, prayer and reading of scripture.
The Cross-March started from Bharat Nagar and culminated at Church of Living Hope after passing through the Udham Singh Chowk, Bagdadi Gate, Main Bazar, Multani Gate and Basti Awa.
Special prayers were offered before the Lord Jesus Christ for the prosperity and progress of all. Besides, the devout took turns bearing the cross, symbolizing Jesus Christ’s hardship with his own cross on the way to Mt Calvary.
Pastor MM Johnson extended warm Good Friday greetings and said, “It is a day of adoration and absolution. It is a day of victory for good over evil.”
He urged everyone to recommit to following the examples of peace, love, and forgiveness. Let us preserve our faith, praise Him, serve Him, and thank Him for what He has done for us, since none of this would be possible without His bloodshed. said Pastor.
