Ferozepur, December 25, 2015 : Christmas – a festival to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ – was celebrated with enthusiasm, religious ferovur across the state.

The churches were decorated with twinkling lights for the midnight service for the celebrations and a spirit of festivity pervaded across the State.
With so many disturbing things happening across the globe, especially terrorism which has affected every nation, special prayers for world peace and brotherhood were held at churches so that every human being lives without fear,
The church was decorated with colourful buntings and balloons and wore a festive look.
Not only Christians, but people from different faiths also visited churches along with their families and offered prayers.

We celebrate December 25 as the birthday of Jesus Christ and it is a moment of happiness. On this day, we give the message of peace of Jesus Christ and throw light on his teachings. We prayed for peace in entire world. God loves everyone and that love is shown by humans too by celebrating together, greeting each other and giving gifts, said Alvin Bhatti a social activist.
